Summer Vacation Rentals at the New Jersey Shore! You've got to be an early riser to discover the many personalities of this town. Did you know Ocean City is a big surfing town? Visit the  7th Street Surf Shop as the sun breaks into the day - and the waves break into the shore - and you'll see. If you're not the surfing type, there's always the morning jogging and biking on the boardwalk. Or if you simply prefer a coffee break, park yourself on a bench and watch the passers-by. Spring, summer or fall, the beach is awesome in the morning.

This year-round town has incredible spring and fall block parties (over 10 blocks filled with fun), drawing thousands. And the Doo-Dah parade in April… well, you just have to see it. First Night on New Year's Eve ends one year and begins another with a bang.

The artistic world is well represented by events at the Music Pier and with sprawling boardwalk shows, plus dozens of studios and shops. From Philadelphia: Take the Ben Franklin Bridge to the Atlantic City Expressway. Take the South Garden State Parkway exit (7S). Then take the Route 52 exit (#30) toward Somers Point/Ocean City. After NJ 52 becomes East 9th Street, turn right onto Wesley Avenue (approx. 65 miles from Philadelphia and 1¼ hours total travel time)

From North Jersey/New York City:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to the Garden State Parkway South (Exit 11); take the Route 52 exit (#30) toward Somers Point/Ocean City. After NJ 52 becomes East 9th Street, turn right onto Wesley Avenue (approx. 130 miles from NYC and 2¼ hours total travel time)
